The house exceeded our expectations. The setting is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are basic but nice and the hosts are very accommodating. We had breakfast and dinner and would highly recommend it (specially the dinner was amazing).

The location was perfect for us, as we were on our way travelling from Umbria through Tuscany. The house is nice, a historical building turned into a guesthouse. The guest is friendly, speaking very good English. We only spent one night there so we didn't have the opportunity to interact with the owner too much or to have dinner on-site. Tasty breakfast consisting mainly in natural products.
We've got no amenities except for a soap (although it was advertised otherwise), the rooms are not soundproofed and we could hear noises coming from either the hallway or from other rooms, the cleaning hasn't been done properly in our bathroom and there were bugs within the room (I can't blame the owner for this though, as we were in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by forests and orchards).

This is our 5th visit to La Palazinna - it is an elegant villa in a perfect location - situated in the countryside between the hilltowns of Tuscany. The rooms are lovely - comfortable and spotless - each with a beautiful view. We were warmly welcomed by hosts - Walter and Daniella (and their adorable dog Electra). The buffet breakfasts offered a very good variety. Dinner was available and was most welcome after a long day of site seeing. The dinners were homemade by Walter and were delicious! A perfect location for a holiday in Tuscany. We look forward to our next visit. Carlo & Judy Toronto, Ontario Canada

The place is a little bit off the beaten routes, but it was exactly what I needed for 5 nights a stayed there. Anyway you shall need a car to reach the place. The house is very nice and clean with very friendly stuff. A little gem for very reasonable money. I saw a deer and a pheasant 20 meters away from the entrance. The nature is almost knocking to your door.

Helpful staff, speaks English Beautiful view from the window, peacefull area. Historic building
nice antique furnitures, what is ok, but the bed was very hard and not comfortable BUGS - all around on the walls. I understand it's near the wild nature, but so many insects inside is unacceptable. Quite far from Tuscany most popular atractions. If you consider sightseeing it may take some time to get there Swimming pool mentioned on the website was not open. We were on the second halff of September and the owner told us it's too cold yet (26 degrees outside).

A beautiful hunting lodge in the middle of an amazing valley. Breathtaking views and a very warm welcome. On arrival after a 90k cycle it was a real treat and to top it off a couple of glasses of chianti. Our room was lovely and very comfortable. Breakfast was perfect.

Beautifull location, very welcoming and helpfull (multilingual) owners with a good sense of how to treat each individual guest. We'd definitely recommend it !
Beds were à bit too hard for us (but that's been the case al over italy, so it might be à cultural thing)
